Construction Safety Consulting in Indiana
Safety advice for contractors, facility teams and project leaders managing workplace hazards on Indiana jobsites.

Safety Planning for Construction Projects
We work with contractors, facility teams and project leaders to review work conditions, identify potential hazards and build practical, site-specific safe-work plans. The goal is clear, usable guidance your team can act on, not paperwork for its own sake.

Hazard Reviews
Field observations of work conditions to surface the hazards that matter on your site.
JSA Support
Help building job hazard and job safety analyses (JHAs/JSAs) for the tasks at hand.
Site Safety Planning
PPE decisions and practical safe-work plans matched to the project.
Job Hazard Analysis and Field Safety Support
We discuss the project scope, review observed risks and relevant documents, then provide recommendations and coordinate next steps with your project team.
Recommendations support your decisions. They do not imply regulator approval or a guarantee of complete legal compliance.

Training, Documentation and Coordination
Consulting identifies risks and advises on controls. Training teaches workers and supervisors how to recognize hazards and follow safe procedures. Many projects use both, scoped separately, and we can coordinate documentation and next steps across them.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should a contractor bring in a construction safety consultant?
Consider a review before a new project starts, when work methods or subcontractors change, after a near miss, or when hazards are difficult to manage. Early review can clarify exposures, site procedures and responsibilities before crews mobilize.
What is included in a job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA)?
A JHA or JSA breaks work into tasks, identifies hazards at each stage and documents practical controls. It should reflect the actual site, equipment and workforce, and be reviewed when conditions change.
Can Watchtower visit our active construction site?
On-site walkthroughs, observed-hazard reviews and coordination with project supervisors can be included. The areas reviewed, deliverables, timing and frequency of visits are agreed before work begins.
Does hiring a safety consultant transfer OSHA responsibility away from the contractor?
No. Employers and contractors retain their applicable legal duties to provide safe working conditions, training and required controls. Outside consulting helps identify issues and improve plans; it is not an OSHA inspection or approval.
What information should we provide before a safety assessment?
Share the jobsite address, scope and schedule, affected trades, current safety procedures, any recent incidents or concerns, and known site-specific hazards. Plans, access rules and available JHAs help make the review more useful.
How is safety consulting different from crew training?
Consulting evaluates work conditions and recommends controls; training helps people understand and use those controls. Projects may need both, especially when a hazard review leads to updated procedures or task-specific instruction.
